If, like me, you faced telling your children about another act of terror this week, you probably struggled a bit with the prospect of such a difficult conversation. In talking with my children about the Boston Marathon bombings, I found myself assuring them that there’s really more good than bad in the world. More good people than bad. More good events than bad. More good moments than bad. More good news than bad.
Sometimes, though, we have to work really hard to find the good news outside of our own household. That’s where this blog comes in. I’d like to collect the good news – about people, animals, discoveries, progress, love, connection, respect, kindness, compassion, you name it.

News stories often highlight the horrific stories: they are attention-grabbing like the gapers delay that forms on highway around an accident, but they leave us in a dark place. Thank you for making the effort to find the positive and remind all of us that there is “More Good” in this world than bad 🙂
